What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your browser when you visit. They help the site remember things — like whether you have acknowledged a notice — so it can work properly on your next visit.
Some cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browser (session cookies); others remain until they expire or you remove them (persistent cookies).
